About this object

Large, thick-bodied cobra with large head. Three main colour forms exist, some are glossy black with chin, throat and belly cream or white with broad bands or blotches, the sides of the head strikingly marked with blackor white. Others are brownish or blackish-brown above, paler below, the belly yellow or cream with dark speckles, some individuals may be banded yellow and black. Length up to 270 cm.
