Pyromorphite from Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria LIV.1992.217.AH

Pyromorphite is a lead phosphate chloride found where weathering has altered lead minerals. Although this mineral has little economic use it indicates where lead may be and is prized by mineral collectors.
