Manjira Chowdhury came to the UK nearly four decades ago. Besides teaching, she is passionate about music, cooking and telling tales. She was brought up in Assam listening to her Grandmothers’ tales. She strongly believes that children should be brought up with music and listening to stories. This time she has compiled stories from Aesop to Panchantantra and will also share some fascinating Indian mythological stories.
Manjira will be accompanied by her son Rishii Chowdhury, a young and energetic tabla player, born in the UK and his lively tabla beats will bring a new dimension to the tales. These interactive sessions will bring joy to children and adults alike.
