Our littlest visitors can get up close and personal with the terracotta warriors at a special workshop just for children under five. Terracotta toddlers is a hands-on session for children aged 3-5 to learn more about the China’s First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors exhibition through clay.
This 45-minute workshop includes a ‘dough disco’, an up-close encounter with a real Terracotta Warrior and a child-led clay workshop. It will develop children’s gross and fine motor skills, as well as creativity, and the young participants will be able to take away their clay creations.
Sessions will take place during school holidays in April, July and August. Priced at £6 for a child and one adult, places are strictly limited. The sessions include a worksheet with information and ideas for using clay at home.
Book your tickets here. Alternatively please call 0151 478 4444 or visit the ticket kiosk outside World Museum entrance to book your place.
