Experience China’s First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors after-hours at this special dinner event, which features a talk from author Jonathan Clements.
Clements has penned of a number of books on Asian history, including The First Emperor of China, Confucius: A Biography, and Sun Tzu’s Art of War: A New Translation. He is also a Visiting Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the presenter of Route Awakening, a National Geographic TV series about icons of Chinese culture.
During the talk at World Museum, the author will discuss the place of the First Emperor’s tomb in the history of the Qin state, the curiosities of its construction, and the tragic events that followed his death.
Arrival is from 6.30pm, with carriages at 10pm.
Tickets start from £65pp, which also includes after-hours entry into the exhibition (usually £14.50pp). The evening also includes a drinks reception on arrival, a delicious three-course meal and half a bottle of wine or two bottles of beer.
