The terracotta army that was discovered in 1974 in Xian, China, has been described as "the eighth wonder of the world." At least 8000 terracotta figures were buried in the tomb of the First Emperor and all with the idea that they should never see the light of day again!

This talk will explain why the terracotta army was created and how it was made, as well as explore some of the restoration techniques used at the site today.
