Join us for a unique journey to the stars as we open late for our spectacular stargazing night on Friday 9 November!

Back by popular demand, our stargazing night is perfect for both children and adults who are keen to discover more about the night sky and what it takes to make it as an astronaut!

Meet the experts, including fascinating talks from Professor Andy Newsam from Liverpool John Moores University and Dr Jackie Bell, who is working towards becoming a UK Astronaut and currently works for the Association of Science and Discovery Centres'.

Explore the planets with a VR headset in our virtual reality demonstration and stargaze through telescopes in our pop-up observatory (we're keeping our fingers crossed for a clear night's sky).

There’ll also be fun and educational space craft activities for budding astronauts to enjoy, and some exciting new planetarium shows on The Sun and Dark Matter.

This is a ticketed event and pre-booking is essential. Book your tickets below, or tickets can also be purchased through the main box office line on 0151 478 4444 from 10am – 5pm (Monday – Sunday).
