World Museum invited you to enter a world of enchantment, illusion and fantasy with 'Magic Worlds'. The exhibition explored ethereal realms of fairies, folklore, wizards and witches.
More than 150 objects were on display in the exhibition, including Harry Potter’s broomstick, Sooty and his wand, the Cottingley fairy photographs, a stage suit worn by the popular magician Harold Taylor and examples of Fairyland Lustre Wedgwood ceramics from the 20s and 30s.
You could your get hands on interactive displays and little ones could dress up as witches, wizards, elves and characters from 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.
At the storytelling tent, visitors of all ages could pause for a moment and enjoy listening to audio of the timeless tales of 'Cinderella', 'Snow White', 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Magic Worlds is a touring exhibition, organised by V&A Museum of Childhood, London.
