Limestone panel from the tomb of Nyankhety

Sandy coloured stone with figures engraved into it

Length: 61cm

This limestone panel comes from a false door in the Saqqara tomb of Nyankhety. He was the Controller of Scribes at the Royal Palace. The panel shows in raised relief the dead man seated before an offering table piled high with loaves of bread and joints of meat.
