Pair of feather armlets

In Mundurucú society, armlets and feather headdresses were part of an important man’s ceremonial regalia.

These feather armlets and other Mundurucú items were given to the museum in 1865. More than a century ago they were displayed at Walker Art Gallery Art Gallery with a feather bonnet
