In Mundurucú society, armlets and feather headdresses were part of an important man’s ceremonial regalia.

These feather armlets and other Mundurucú items were given to the museum in 1865.   More than a century ago they were displayed at Walker Art Gallery Art Gallery with a feather bonnet.
