Space and Time
A planetarium is a theatre of the Universe. At World Museum Liverpool you can blast off on a spectacular journey through space and time, learning about the Universe around you on the way.
The planetarium opened in 1970 and since then well over a million people have visited us. The planetarium has 62 seats and currently attracts about 90,000people per year. Shows cover various aspects of space science, including our Solar System, space exploration and special children's shows.
Entrance to the planetarium is FREE with tickets allocated on a first come first served basis (see planning your visit for further details). For the most up to date list of shows and times check the what's on section of this website.
