Abbey Ruins and Distant View

This drawing was originally going to be listed in a 1858 Christie's sales catalogue as being by JMW Turner (1775 - 1851) but it was later amended to Thomas Girtin (1775 - 1802). It is now thought to be by an unknown artist working in Girtin's style.
