Acting surgeon David Herbert Llewellyn

Lantern slide depicting engraving of David herbert Llewellyn (1838-1864), acting surgeon aboard the Confederate Commerce raider, CSS Alabama, during the American Civil War. Llewellyn went down with the ship when it was sunk by the USS Kearsage during the Battle of Cherbourg in June 1864.
