Adze

An adze blade in dark-grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded rectangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll is oblique with a straight top. The surface is ground, where not fractured. The bevel is convex, and there is no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex. The cutting edge is sharp. There are fractures on the sides and the poll, and abrasion marks on the front.
