Adze

An adze blade in dark-grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded rectangular cross-section. The butt surface is flaked and bruised, and the blade surface ground. The bevel is convex, with no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The profile is thin, the front and back convex, and there is a flat facet on the pointed poll. The cutting edge is sharp and chipped. There are fractures on the sides.
