Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone, possibly argillite, with an asymmetrical outline and rounded rectangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The surfaces are ground with remains of bruising. There is no distinct bevel or chin. The cutting edge is curved and oblique. The front and back profiles are convex. The cutting edge is blunt. There is an old fracture on the front and remains of two labels on the back.
