Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and lenticular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll is oblique with a facet and sharp edge. The surface is ground/polished with grinding marks still visible. The bevel is flat and the curved chin fractured. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex. The cutting edge is slightly blunt and chipped. There are old fractures on the front, back and bevel.
