Adze

An adze blade in grey-yellow stone with an asymmetrical outline and rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll and front surfaces are bruised and ground, the rest ground and polished. The bevel is convex with no chin line. The cutting edge is irregular and fractured. The front profile is convex, the back slightly concave. The cutting edge is blunt and badly chipped and the bevel fractured. There are the remains of labels on the back and one side.
