Adze

An adze blade in pale grey stone with fine dark grey lines, an asymmetrical outline and quadrangular cross-section. The butt is reduced, and the poll is oblique and straight. The surfaces of the butt, back and sides are flaked and bruised, the rest polished. The bevel is convex, with no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is convex, back profile convex on the blade, straight on the butt. The cutting edge is sharp and chipped.
