Adze

An adze blade in dark-grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and an asymmetrical quadrangular cross-section. The poll is oblique. The butt is reduced on one side, and its edges are rounder there than on the other side. The surfaces of the poll and one side are bruised, the rest polished. The bevel is convex with no chin line. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is convex, the back straight. The cutting edge is sharp and chipped. There are fractures, probably old ones, on the poll, front and one side.
