Adze

An adze blade in grey stone with paler patches. The outline is asymmetrical and the cross-section is lenticular. The butt is undifferentiated and the poll is straight. The surface overall is very rough. The probable front surface appears to be flaked, and the back bruised. The bevel is straight, and the chin irregular. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is irregularly concave, the back profile is convex. The front is wider than the back. The cutting edge is blunt and chipped.
