The bevel is convex, and the chin curved. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is slightly convex, the back straight.
The cutting edge is sharp. There is a fracture on the back and possibly on the poll. There are the remains of an old label on the front and 'Petone' 'N. Zealand' written on front and back.
