Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone, possibly sandstone-greywacke, with a slightly asymmetrical outline and a rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll surface is bruised, with the remains of bruising on sides, elsewhere polished. The bevel is convex, and the chin line curved. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is convex, the back slightly concave. The cutting edge is sharp.
