Adze

An adze blade in grey stone, possibly sandstone-greywacke, with an asymmetrical outline. The poll is very rounded, and the blade end tapers in towards the cutting edge. The surfaces of the poll, back and upper sides are bruised, the rest ground. The bevel is concave, and chin curved. The cutting edge is curved. The front and back profiles are convex. The cutting edge is sharp. There are the remains of a label on the back.
