Adze

An adze blade in dark grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and the cross-section asymmetrical and quadrangular. The butt is undifferentiated and the poll broken off. The probable back surface is ground, the rest fractured. There is a possible convex bevel, and no chin line. The cutting edge is oblique. The front profile is irregular, the back convex. The cutting edge is sharp and fractured. There are the remains of a label on the bevel.
