Adze

An adze blade in grey stone with an asymmetrical outline. The cross-section is also asymmetrical, and predominantly lozenge-shaped with the sides having two facets. The surface is ground. There is a possible straight bevel with an oblique chin line. The cutting edge is irregular and fractured. The front profile is convex, the back straight. The cutting edge is blunt and badly fractured. The poll is also fractured.
