Adze

An adze blade in fine-textured dark grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a quadrangular cross-section. The poll edges are bruised, the other surfaces polished. There is a facet on one side of the poll. The bevel is slightly convex, the chin straight. The cutting edge is curved. The front profile is convex, the back slightly concave. The cutting edge is sharp. There are fractures on the side of the bevel and poll.
