Adze

An adze blade in dull grey-green stone. The outline is asymmetrical and the cross-section rectangular with one side grooved. The butt is undifferentiated. The surface is polished. There are two bevels, one on the back and one on the front, of about equal size. There are no chin lines. The cutting edge is oblique. The front and back profiles straight. There are fractures along the non-grooved side, on the poll and alongside the groove, all rounded off.
