Adze

An adze blade in pale orange-grey stone with an asymmetrical outline and a rounded quadrangular cross-section. The butt is reduced at the back. The surface is polished. The bevel is convex, and the chin oblique. The cutting edge is oblique. The front profile is convex, the back concave. The cutting edge is sharp. The poll is broken obliquely and there are old fractures on the butt and the back. There is a newer fracture on the front cutting edge.
