Silver gelatin print by the Liverpool City Engineer's Department and passed for record purposes by Western Command Headquarters. Stamped WD55 on verso. Image shows a damaged air raid shelter in the middle of a mountain of debris at the corner of Paradise Street and Park Lane, Liverpool. Hit by an HE bomb on the night of 31st August, 1940.
