Alabastron (flask) with two unpierced lugs. Concretions and roughly modelled - perhaps from a foundation deposit? Presented to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in 1925 from 'office stock' of the Egypt Exploration Society. Since 1956 assumed to be from Amarna but more likely another Egypt Exploration Society excavation such as Naukratis. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Very badly chipped, abraised, rim missing, scratched, surface dirt.
