Alabastron (Perfume Vase)

Long narrow body with a rounded end; two lugs high up on the body; and a narrow neck supporting a wide flat mouth. Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, Stone and Metal Vases (London, 1937) no. 970 but short neck. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, half rim missing, cracked, hole in base, surface loss, surface dirt. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 131.
