Alabastron (Perfume Vase)

Ovoid body with a rounded end; two lugs high up on the body; and a narrow neck supporting a wide flat mouth. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 125. Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, Stone and Metal Vases (London, 1937) no. 950. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped, cracked, discolouration, surface dirt, cork in mouth.
