Information
Ovoid body with a rounded end; two lugs high up on the body; and a narrow neck that is broken off. Marked with Danson's collection number "126" and the auction number "17/3".
Danson Catalogue 2 no. 126. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 16-19 July 1912 (Kennard collection) Lot 17/3: "A long Alabastron, in fine alabaster; 6 3/4 in. high. And two smaller Pieces, with ears near top; 3 3/4 in. and 3 1/4 in. high".

CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete. Hole in side, surface dirt, label adhered to surface, cork in mouth.
