Alabastron (Perfume Vase)

Long narrow body with a rounded end, two lugs high up on the body and a narrow neck supporting a wide flat mouth. Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, Stone and Metal Vases (London, 1937) no. 951 but tall. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Broken in two, surface dirt, some running cracks, adhesive on break edge, wax? in base. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 111 (ex Hilton Price Collection).
