Ameiva ameiva (Linnaeus, 1758)

General coloration dark, but with several vertical rows of yellowish circular spots on the side of the body and bluish spots on the belly, a brown or yellowish stripe may be present on the rear two-thirds of the back. Length 38-64 cm.
