South Italian amphora decorated in the red-figure technique in the Apulian Plain Style. Decoration side A: two draped youths at a grave monument surmounted by a kantharos. Another kantharos stands on the ground. Two kylikes are suspended from the base; side B: two draped youths at a pillar. Attribution (A.D.Trendall): belongs to the wider circle of the Ilioupersis Painter, close in style to the work of the Painter of New York 56.171.85.
