Amphora with two handles on the shoulders. Ovoid shape with tall neck and slight flat rim. Pointed base. With label (perhaps from vendor): Ancient Greco-Egyptian Period B.C. 300 - 100. Fine Tera Cotta Vase with pointed bottom. Rare and curious shape. 9" high. From collection of the Rev. J. Ranger Lawrence, chaplain of the British Forces at Ramleh, Egypt. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Pitted, chipped, surface dirt.
