Amphora

Egyptian alabaster amphora with a globular body with two handles, a tall neck and shallow ring foot. Was originally equipped with a lid and used to store liquids, such as perfumed oils and fats. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Worn, scratched, surface dirt. Danson Catalogue 2 no. 222.
