Amphoriskos (Perfume Bottle)

Amphoriskos of opaque dark blue with two handles in same colour. Resembling in miniature a two-handled storage jar with oval body tapering to a point at the base, with a pair of handles at the shoulder. Roman, probably Syro-Palestinian. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, previous repair, chipped, surface dirt, label adhered to surface.
