Amulet

M12602
Oval shaped amulet of the type known as a 'magical gem'. It has a standing four snake headed figure faced to his right. From his neck hang snakes and he has a long tail, his feet have hooves, and this may well be representing a demon. To the right he has a hawk to his left and along the edge in a smaller scale there is a bird, a crouching lion and the letter M. Above the snake headed figure there are some small shapes or magical characters. On the reverse side there is a house in which there is a figure standing facing animals. On the edges of the amulet there are three astronomical signs, taurus, capricorn and the didymos star sign.
