Amulet

Oval shaped amulet of the type known as a 'magical gem', fragmentary. It shows the pper half of an ithyphallic baboon, standing to right, with both paws raised in greeting, head crowned with a disk. To the right of the figure, a falcon, standing on the back of a lion (?). There is a vessel (?) on the head of the lion. Around them: Greek letters [- - ]β α ο? α γ[- - ], and characteres including a seven-pointed star. B: Greek inscription: [- - ]αχφν|[- - ]ρφιχρο|[- - ]ωφ → unknown vox.
