Round shape amulet of the type known as a 'magical gem'. It shows Chnoubis, a snake with a lion head and 6 rays on his head. Chnoubis is a common image for magical gems and perhaps an innovation of makers of magical gems. Chnoubis was originally a minor figure of Egyptian astrology but the makers of magical gems transformed him into an important solar deity because it could be easily received by different cultures.
