Amulet

Oval ring setting of the type known as a 'magical gem', showing one one side a cock-headed anguipede, a divinity with legs in the form of serpents, facing to the right. He has armour and wears a mantle. He has his right hand raised and possibly holds a whip, his left hand holds a shield, half hid behind his body, his forearm is visible. Greek inscription around the figure: ιαω υοι → Ἰάω, vocales. The edges have a Greek inscription and characteres: λιιλιιιλ character υλιλυυιλ character ιυ (tentative reading).
