Information

Small copper gilt ga'u in the form of a portable shrine. The front is covered with repousse decoration, including the Eight Auspicious Buddhist Emblems, a monster mask or tsipa and foliage, the decoration is well worn. The back panel is made from iron and has been prised open. The contents are intact and include a a clay figure of Chenrezi and a cloth with a wide weave. The two squared loops have remnants of cloth prayer flags attached to them. The front window of the ga'u is covered with a broken piece of glass.
