Amulet box / ga'u

A man's silver ga'u in the shape of a portable shrine. The front is heavily engraved with the kalachakra mantra which sits on a lotus pedestal, flanked by two serpentine dragons, in clouds, reaching for the flaming jewels at top centre. At either side are two square lug handles for a strap. The back is made from copper and slides out, a small bend in the lip of the back panel forms a handle. The contents have been removed.
