Amulet box / ga'u

This shrine-shaped charm box or ga'u is decorated in fine repoussé work with the Eight Auspicious Buddhist Emblems. Inside is a small tsa-tsa – a clay plaque pressed out of a mould – which shows the historical Buddha.
