Amulet box or ga'u
A brass shrine shaped amulet box or ga'u. The front panel design includes a dragon, a peacock, swirling clouds, flowers and at the base the peaks of Mount Meru in repousse work. The small central window still has a piece of glass. The panel has been painted in a variety of enamel paints with some of the colours still visible. The brass back panel is loose, but is incised with the kalachakra symbol. The ga'u is empty.
