Amulet of a Jackal Headed Deity

Composite deity with a human body, jackal's head, wings and tail of a bird, clad in a short kilt and seated on a throne, drawing a bow held in the left hand. A possible sun disc headdress is broken away but there remains trace of plumes and curled horns. A loop at the back would have allowed the amulet to be threaded and worn. There are few parallels but compare with British Museum no. 71027 (Carol Andrews, Amulets of Ancient Egypt, p.47) and Egyptian Museum (Cairo) no. 38700, a bronze jackal-headed figure drawing a bow, found at Mendes and attributed to Amun-Re.
